Work while studying
You are eligible to work certain hours while you are studying as an International student in Canada. To be eligible you need to enroll in a program with an eligible Designated Learning Institute.
Work after studying
If you are enrolled in an eligible Designated Learning Institution, you will be eligible to work after you completed your studies up to three years. This open work permit allows you to
gain valuable Canadian work experience.
Obtaining Permanent Residence
International students are eligible to apply for permanent residency through following programs.
Canadian Experience Class
This program allows those with Canadian experience to apply to immigrate to Canada permanently.
Federal Skilled Worker Class
This program allows those who has foreign work experience to apply to Canada. Studying in Canada you will get more points to be qualified for the program.
Provincial Nominee Program
Each province in Canada has specific programs for international students to apply for permanent residency in Canada.
Quebec Experience Class
This program allows you to apply for a Permanent residency in the province of Quebec.
